Hi all We seem to have a glut of collared dove in the garden at the moment, which could be despatched quite easily with a catapult. We like warm pigeon breast salad, is Dove similar?

Hi All We live in Ashford Kent and would like to source local mutton, can anyone help? I an sure we grew up on mutton and never knew it! John

I went to school in Hunton Kent in the 1960's The best pudding there was Gypsy tart. I have not yet found a recipe that replicates what I had at school. Can any body help? I am not looking for the foamy one that is condensed milk & brown sugar. I think it included flour, margarine,& brown sugar. Can anybody help? John

Have been out on the Romney marsh today have found what appears to be wild mirabelles, and wild damsons. Anyone got any ideas on sugar ratios for jams & should I remove stones before weighing? Thank for any help
