After leaving in france now for coming up to two years do i do miss english pubs. The hour Glass in exeter, in probably one of the pubs that I wish I could just pop back in to for a couple of beers and some fresh food.

Tucked away in a small street just off the quay it is small and cosy and serves up some great simple but tasty food. It does get busy so i would recommend going early evening, grabbing a table and then settle down for the night. if you prefer the restaurant rather than the bar though then you can book ahead. The bar has more atmosphere though.
