River Cottage is getting out and about this summer . . .
Over the last week or so it feels like winter has finally given up it’s tight cold grip and the sun has come out to celebrate Spring's arrival.
Over the last week or so it feels like winter has finally given up it’s tight cold grip and the sun has come out to celebrate Spring's arrival.
With Spring of course comes new growth in the garden and new animals in the fields and here at River Cottage HQ that’s put us in the party mood.In fact, party fever has taken hold so much that this year we’ve decided to go out on the road and have eight great parties at eight great festivals, and we’d love you to come and join us!
All Summer long the River Cottage team, including characters you’ll recognise from our TV series and authors of some of our books, will be joining the River Cottage Canteen field kitchen to serve up a delicious menu of food and fun.
The food will include a River Cottage twist on some festival favourites as well as daily specials and over the season we’ll be joined by our contributors such as our foraging expert John Wright (author of the River Cottage Edible Seashore Handbook), River Cottage Preserves supremo Pam Corbin (Preserves Handbook) and our Head Gardener Mark Diacono (Veg Patch Handbook).
They'll be passing on their knowledge along with workshops and children’s activities run by the River Cottage team.
